DancingDot-method speeds up your reading

Creativity consultant  Esko A. Koivusalo created Avica Lines -speed reading method in 1991.
In 1997-98 he developed the Dancing Dot -method for computers together with the programmers of the company DD.
In 2000 the company compared the DD -method to the studies of the movement of the eye in computer reading conducted by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. Based on the results of these studies the DD -method was reprogrammed.

As a concentrated trainee you can improve your reading speed considerably using the DD -method daily for 15...30 minutes.
You can use the DD -method on texts of Shipcat and also on the texts written inside Shipcat by teacher.

Children leaving basic school should be able to read about 110 words per minute. However,  there are children who can read only 20-30 words per minute.
For future success in school it is crucial to learn to read well before the ages of nine to ten. The Shipcat will help to develop these reading skills.
Good adult comprehensive text "surfers" can read over 600 words per minute. It is also common knowledge that President Kennedy read up to 1200 words per minute.
